Since my wife Heidi and I are occasionally approached by others inside and outside of our church for advice, we thought we would explore one of these seminars when they came to our hometown. We ended up attending four BCI seminars since September, 2007. Not only were Heidi and I taught how to biblically help others who are going through difficult times but we also found ourselves actually being mentored by Dr. Abercrombie (Ab). What we learned from Ab about preparing our own hearts before helping others and about truly applying the Bible to everyday living was priceless. Each seminar was spiritually uplifting and challenged us to more faithfully view the issues of living according to the Word of God.

I believe that any Christian who might be involved in helping someone through difficult times or in mentoring someone will find BCI's teachings invaluable. I highly recommend BCI's resources and offerings for the following Christians: counselors, church staff, church elders, lay leaders, parents with children of any age, grandparents, anyone involved in mentoring, anyone who wants to be better equipped to help those they care about, and anyone who wants to grow in spiritual maturity.
